Tripadvisor: Plan & Book Trips App Reviews

When planning a trip, the first thing I think of is Trip Advisor, so great to hear other people opinions of places they have traveled, and I review our many travels.

This app always points me to great places when I travel. When I do not have the app on me, it is reassuring to see a Trip Advisor sticker when I walk into a hostel, restaurant, or anywhere else. I will continue using this app.

I usually get my notifications of reviews by email... so I click on the email like to read the review... works well and I can see the review immediately (without any more clicks); then I am asked if I want to open the review in the app (which I have on my iPhone); I usually decline because if I choose yes to open the app I am then disconnected from the reviews I was reading... this is a very poor process! The app wants me to login and when I do I am still disconnected from the reviews I was reading... with the app I would need to search for the restaurant or venue before I could see and read the reviews... so I loose interest... this issue should be fixed...

We travel full time with my husbands job and since were always in a new town this app has helped us find great restaurants and things to do in the area!

I rely on Trip Advisor for common sense reviews. It combines lots of information surprisingly fast.

My number one resource for information both before and during travel!

Certain functions are working, certain are not. Going in circles a lot. If you need to switch between accounts (like I do as a property owner) - forget it. It gives me a run for my money. Impossible.

Love the timeline on this app.

Before we go anywhere I open Trip Advisor. I rely on the reviews and love the way the information is organized. I also feel great adding my reviews to the collections.

The app is great so the 4 stars. But it is consuming 16% battery when I havent even used it. Please fix immediately.

I dont know why I didnt get the app sooner! I love it! I was able to save $50 on a one night hotel stay. Not to mention numerous restaurant suggestions and options for attractions. This is a great resource!

I love Trip Advisor for the wealth and diversity of its reviews and the convenience of making reservations directly from the app!

A guide, a companion, to make the most out of your trip. Im on my last trip I was familiar with this software.

We have been using trip advisor services and app for a number of years now and we very satisfied with the functionality and reliability it has. A tool that can not be missed.

I got an email. Tried to open contents in app. App opens but no contents related to email. I contact them. They want screen shots. I take screen shots and try to send. Told they are too big. There were only 5 or 6 that they had requested. I thought email went. I filled out a survey. Found rejected email response. Tried to forward that to them. It too gets rejected for size. Really? 6mb is too big? I liked the app when I could actually do research. Now it seems totally about pushing things on us, not letting us discover them. I got so frustrated last night trying to use it I just gave up. This is not the Trip Advisor of the past. Who bought them and made it FUBAR?

My wife is a travel agent and uses Trip Advisor all the time. We just got back from a vacation in Italy, Germany and Switzerland and my wife used Trip Advisor to find our hotels, restaurants and activities. All of the hotels were perfect including an amazing place in Lake Como with a dazzling view from our room. We also had a great place in Venice and an inexpensive place in Frankfurt two minutes from the train station. You always get the real scoop on places to eat and the best activities. We would never travel anywhere without Trip Advisor.

Ive never come across a site that will not let you read the mobile version of their site without downloading their app. Trip advisor will not let you read more than three reviews on the mobile site unless you download their app. It makes no sense, and Im not playing ball.

This is my favorite app in every way possible. Easy to use. Extremely reliable information. I have found fantastic dining and vacation rentals through it. Cant say enough about it and its value.

While traveling we use this app often to find where to eat, or stay. We also use it to share positive average or even less favorable experiences either travel or in our home town.
